We love this brand with my wife, however lately we have been disappointed on several occasions. At the end of 2020 I bought a pair of boots for my wife through their website. The product arrived on time, in perfect condition and with the brand's legendary packaging. However, and to our great astonishment, after three uses, outings to restaurants, the product deteriorated in an unusual way. My wife weighs only 42 kilos, is extremely meticulous with her belongings. After three ordinary uses, the product seemed to have endured a football match. I made a complaint, which was taken into account, however the last confinement prevented us from taking the item to the Hermes store. Then we did it knowing that the boots had not been used in the meantime. After about a month of waiting, the response from Hermes was "that we had to pay 189 euros to replenish them". Having informed them of my disappointment, they wrote to me to confirm their support. About a month later, my wife went to get her boots which had not been reconstructed, they just added a skate and asked my wife for 35 euros for "services rendered" very small right? On the other hand, I wanted to buy Hermès tennis shoes (which I have been using without problems for about 10 years) and again I find it with another problem. Tennis (leather) tested, were the usual comfort. The salesman said, I'll get you another pair and I paid the bill. The next day, happy to be able to wear them, I went for a walk in Paris. The leather being very hard at the level of the fold of the fingers, caused me a lesion requiring ten days to erase it. I took the sneakers to my cobbler who "stretched" the leather, however, despite this intervention, I would still have to suffer until my sneakers were comfortable. Admittedly, I do not have the means to buy Birkin bags, however I consider that boots at 2000 euros and sneakers at 550 euros should undergo quality and comfort tests as well as, in the event of a complaint such as ours, support as it should be.
